I’m Anthony Pica. I’m not a cigar industry guy, I’m not sponsored by anybody, and I didn’t start this because I thought it’d be a business. I started it because I love cigars, I’ve got opinions about them, and I wanted a place to actually write those opinions down instead of just telling my buddies on the porch. The Ash Report is that place.
The MIssion
There’s no shortage of cigar reviews out there, but a lot of them feel like ads with a star rating attached. The Ash Report is my attempt to do it differently — score every cigar the same way, whether I bought it or it showed up free, and actually explain my reasoning instead of just throwing out a number. I’m not trying to find the most expensive cigar or the most hyped cigar. I’m trying to find the perfect one. That search is the whole point.
