WHY I’M HERE
Some of my best memories are at my aunt’s house — out back with my uncle and cousins, the smell of cigar smoke hanging in the warm air. I always looked forward to those nights. I’m chasing that feeling again.

Some of the cigars I review I buy myself. Some are sent to me by brands or readers. Either way, every score is mine — and brands can’t change a number by sending more samples or pulling out a checkbook. The search for the perfect cigar only works if the search is honest. So I keep it that way.
